How Centre Stage Performing Arts Academy came to be.....

Most of my happiest memories as a child were when I was at Theatre School...whether it was dancing, singing, acting, rehearsing for a show, or sitting eating my lunch! I always had such a laugh and loved being there meeting so many new people of all ages, abilities and eccentricity.

I felt such an excitiment when we used to learn new dances, drama pieces or songs and could never understand that learning things could actually be fun (as I didn't feel the same effects in my Maths class!!).

After spending several years teaching for other organisations, I decided that I wanted to recreate the atmosphere that I had when I was growing up.

Centre Stage was then born!

 We aim to offer a variety of classes for all ages and abilities that are fun and interesting.   Hoping to provide new skills whilst developing a sense of personal development, nuture confidence, promote positive self esteem and inspire creativity through Performing Arts.

 Whilst Centre Stage is my dream, we are a fairly new academy so we would like to hear from you.... we want to find out what works best for you - so if you feel you want a class on at a different time, more classes, less classes or simply different classes altogether!
