Ballet

We offer a variety of ballet classes for all ages and abilities. Our Instuctors are registered with ISTD regulations, which means that children can take regular graded exams that are recognised nationally.

Children can start Ballet from the age of 2 and a half in our pre school class. Initially children will be placed in classes based on age/grades and then will be moved if necessary to a grade that suits their ability.

Tap

Our Tap classes run very similarly to our Ballet classes, in that they also follow ISTD regulations whereby children can take regular examinations. 

Our Tap classes start for Children aged 5 plus, in graded classes. As with all of our dance classes, it is not just about exams, You will also be given the opportunity to perform in our annual show and compete in festival work.

Modern

Modern Dance is a more relaxed, free style form of dance where choreographers often use emotions and moods to design their own steps, instead of the structured steps you have in Ballet.

Our Instructors do follow the ISTD sylabus, so children can enter exams, as well as partake in festivals, competitions and annual performances.

We teach Modern to Children from aged 2 and a half in our Pre school class through to Adults in our graded classes.

We also offer classes for those who wish to compete in festivals, where an Instructor will choreograph dances either for Solo, duet or group pieces. Please note this is an extra cost and needs to be discussed with your class teacher or Principal.
